Significant social changes have had a negative impact on our families, communities, and schools, in Oakland.  Parents struggle to make a living and raise their children as best they can.  Our children are killing each other on the streets.  Parents and youth are challenged, on every hand.   They need our encouragement and support.

Our young men and women need positive influences. They need to learn positive ways to work together with other young men and women under adult leadership and to build character.  In Boys 2 Men Youth Outreach the students of elementary, middle, and high school will develop the understanding and skills necessary to deal with difficult situations through communication, not violence.
